Gulawat Lotus Valley, Indore

On my recent trip to Indore I had few hours to spare and I was recommended to visit Lotus Valley by the locals.

After experiencing bustling streets of Chappan Dukaan and Sarafa Bazaar I wanted to explore some scenic beauty and this seemed apt.

The prime attraction of Gulawat Lotus Valley was a lake filled with thousands of beautiful lotuses on its surface.

Others being the bamboo tree forest, bridge over the lake, activities like horse riding, swings, boating, photography and a temple nearby dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

Visiting hours for the lake are 6 am to 6 pm.
